Who We are?
The aim of the German Center for Analytical Medicine (GCAM) is to promote the shared use of data in the medical field. Using structuring and analytical methods, new insights are gained from this consolidated data. With these insights, the quality of diagnoses and therapy decisions, as well as the treatment success, will increase significantly. GCAM considers this mission to be a global task that spans all disciplines in medicine.
The first project, and thus the starting point for GCAM's data management, will focus on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) - liver cancer.
With each new institute and with each new pathology studied by GCAM the data repository and the complexity increase. To be able to manage both these factors and to realize an optimized basis for evaluation and analyses.
