Who We are?
The aim of the German Center for Analytical Medicine (GCAM) is to promote the shared use of data in the medical field. Using structuring and analytical methods, new insights are gained from this consolidated data. With these insights, the quality of diagnoses and therapy decisions, as well as the treatment success, will increase significantly. Starting in the German speaking area and a limited number of clinical aspects, GCAM considers this mission to be a global task that spans all disciplines in medicine.
The first project, and the starting point for GCAM's data management, focusses on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) - liver cancer.
With each new institute and with each new disease picture studied by GCAM the data repository and the complexity increase.
